A Drive-In Wedding Story
This amazing event was captured by the talented Abigail Gingerale Phototography based out of New Jersey
Newlyweds Andrew and Rachel had to come up with a creative way to tie the knot during times of COVID. The couple quickly realized that their June wedding would not come to fruition as they envisioned, but that didn’t discourage them from continuing forward with their plans to marry. In the end, their ceremony was even better than the traditional wedding that they previously imagined.
A few months before their June wedding date, the couple knew that their current path needed a quick and creative shift. They needed an idea that would allow them to safely and spontaneously celebrate together with friends and family.
Rachel’s family had been hosting a monthly “Movie under the stars” since she was a child, this sparked the inspiration for their magical Drive-in movie wedding idea.

They took the concept and turned into a night full of celebration at a safe distance. They worked with a team of vendors to create a beautiful vintage style drive-in wedding, along with food trucks, good music, a charming ceremony, and a pop-up drive-in movie theater.
The enchanted night ended with the couple sitting in a 1960 Chevy Impala Convertible, watching one of their favorite movies while surrounded by the people that mattered most to them.
